Appearance: Shamal is a very classy guy. He tends to wear nice dress shirts, slacks and a tie to match whatever he's wearing (though mostly the tie is loose and a few buttons are undone). On top of that he wears a stark white lab coat. His outfits vary whenever he's not working. (Which is mostly Saturday and Sunday nights.) He has brown hair and brown eyes and stubble on his chin.

Personality: Shamal is a womanizer. Down to the core. He hits on any cute woman he sees. Often times he's very unsuccessful, once he gets rejected (or another woman passes by) he instantly moves on to hit on her. Because of this he has gotten picky with his patients. They must only be women. Just because he claims to heal only women, he has (time to time) been known to treat men. But only if it's a dire emergency. It is rumored that he has "put the moves on 2082 women", in both Italy and Japan.

Shamal also has a very weak immune system and is constantly contracting viruses and diseases. Because of this he carries roughly around 666 mosquitoes pills to help ease the pain. The mosquito pills are his very own genetically-altered mosquitoes. So whenever he "gives shots" it's technically a mosquito doing his job without the student knowing.

Normally, if someone is in need of assistance, Shamal would help them out or point them in the right direction. However, if one is hard headed or stupid, he will refuse to help them at the beginning. He wants to make sure that they understand that they were wrong, and that they understand just exactly where they messed up.

History: Shamal was born in Italy. Like most Italians he fell in love with women at an early age. Shamal had his first girlfriend in the second grade. All throughout elementary school through middle school, Shamal has excelled with education. By the time he entered high school he joined his first family. The notorious mafia family feared in all of Italy: the Vongola family.

Because Shamal has a weak immune system he carries his trident mosquitoes (or also known to his students: mosquito pills) with him wherever he goes. He technically should be dead with all the diseases and viruses he's contracted, but with the help of his mosquitoes, he's able to negate them against each other. He would also use them against his, and the families enemies. Infecting them with any disease or virus of his wish. With the help of Angela (one of his mosquitoes) and the other trident mosquitoes, he became the notorious assassin: "Trident Shamal." Because of his new status, he was given other offers to join other mafia families, one such as the Varia gang. He refused them all and kept serving his first family.

During his college years, he was able to meet a young boy by the name of Hayato Gokudera. At first Shamal kept his distance, and ignored the boy, but as time passed, Gokudera grew on him and he took Gokudera in as his little "protege". With his tutelage he was able to teach Gokudera how to fight with bombs (a mid-range weapon).

However, this was put to a stop after Shamal graduated from college. Reborn, one of the Vongola's most trusted assassins, assigned him to leave to Evergrove to lay low.
